Comet is a 4-month training programme for youth organisers in Britain who are seeking to understand the world and how to change it. Combining systems analysis with liberatory strategy and organising skills, Comet aims to develop the leadership capacities necessary to build effective, people-powered organisations for revolutionary change.
The Comet curriculum is delivered through diverse resources (including readings, videos, and podcasts), seminar-style discussions, group exercises, and trainings from leading organisers and intellectuals, including Jason Hickel, Grace Blakeley, Max Ajl, Sabrina Fernandes, James Schneider, Dee Woods, Kai Heron, and more. The curriculum will also build off of the existing knowledge and experience of participants, fostering an environment of collective learning, unity, and trust-building.
