In part 5/5 in our ‘Understanding China’ series, we investigate the US-led Global North’s New Cold War on China. China’s political-economic ascendance poses an intolerable threat to the US’ ruling class. To shore up its late stage empire, the US and its imperialist allies are attempting to militarily and economically constrain China. This escalating belligerence risks spiraling into a thermonuclear World War III. As eco-socialists organisers in the imperial core, it is our duty to stop the New Cold War on China. We must build a new world order based on peace, justice, cooperation, and sustainability.
