Imperialism & Immigration [Pt. 1]
Any discussion on immigration must begin with clarity about it’s root cause: imperialism. Imperialism produces the political, economic, and ecological conditions that force people to leave their homes and risk crossing militarised boarders. It is the poison that pillages nations of the periphery while creating conditions for exploitation in the core. Imperialism is the source of people’s anger and it must be directed at that.
